How can we help?

Jamory is in active development. We read every email and usually reply within a day.

Delete your account and data

To delete your Jamory account, email support@jamory.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.

We will, within 30 days:

  • Delete your account, profile, and display name.
  • Delete all your recordings, photos, lyrics, song notes, and personal data stored in Jamory.
  • Remove you from any bands you are a member of.

We will retain, for up to 90 days then delete:

  • Anonymized analytics records that cannot identify you.
  • Audit logs required for security and abuse investigation.

No login is required to request deletion. Email us from the account email and we will process the request.

You can also request partial deletion (specific recordings, photos, lyrics, or band memberships) without deleting your entire account - same email address, describe what you want removed.

Frequently asked

Is my music private? Who can see my recordings?

Your songs, recordings, photos, and chat are visible only to members of the band they belong to. Nothing is public, nothing is shared across bands, and we do not sell or hand band content to anyone. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of service providers we use.

Do my bandmates need to sign up too?

Yes - songs, recordings, and chat are scoped to the band, so every member needs an account. After you create a band, share the 6-character invite code (or invite link) from band settings so each member can sign up and join.

Can I invite someone who hasn’t signed up yet?

Yes. Send them the invite code or link and they can create their account during signup - they’ll land in the band automatically. Codes can be rotated any time from band settings if one leaks.

Do I need a Google account to use Jamory?

No. You can sign up with any email address and a password. Google and Apple sign-in are offered as a shortcut, but neither is required.

Why do I have to confirm my email?

To make sure the address is yours - it’s how we send password resets, jam reminders, and band invites. After signup, click the confirmation link we send you, then come back and sign in. If it doesn’t arrive, check spam or email support@jamory.app.

Does Jamory work offline?

Not yet. Jamory needs a connection to load and save your band’s data, so recordings, lyrics, and setlists are all server-backed. You’ll see a banner across the top when you go offline. Offline capture is on the roadmap.

Can I export my recordings?

You can download any individual recording from the song page. A bulk export of all your band’s data is available on request - email privacy@jamory.app from the address on your account.

What happens to my recordings if I leave a band?

Songs, recordings, photos, and chat belong to the band, so they stay with the band when you leave. If you want a copy of what you contributed, download recordings before leaving or email privacy@jamory.app for an export.

Is Jamory free?

Jamory is free during the beta - no credit card, no trial timer. We’ll give you plenty of notice before any pricing changes, and any band data you’ve created will remain accessible.

What about iOS?

On iOS you can install Jamory as a Progressive Web App: open jamory.appin Safari, tap the share button, then “Add to Home Screen.” A native iOS app is on the roadmap.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and personal data from Account settings, or email us using the instructions above. The action is final. Bands you collaborated on but did not own remain with the band.
